Gazing Eclipse
A downloadable game for Windows
You wake up in a daze, finding must of your fleet had crashed on one of Saturns moons Rhea. Without constant radiation from the sun because of a permanent eclipse , you must journey around the moon gathering all of your gear back.
Some sounds and other things might be missing, had to rush a little on this project. Will be patching those soon!
Created during Metroidvania Month 18 game jam! Solo developed!
Controls
Jump - Space Bar
Boost - Left Shift
Left Click - Fire
Right Click - ADS
To regenerate your shields, ammo, and abilities you need to touch lingering radiation.(Blue spheres with a generator in the middle)

I couldn't figure out how to kill the boss (spider with laser sphere on top). At some point he just stood on some rocks and did nothing :(
He has a shield that protects him. Needing to be hit more with the mining laser or hit with the holo spear.

Tried it again. Overall I like it- obviously one off the biggest (if not THE biggest) games in this jam (thanks for the save feature btw). I liked the low gravity feeling the movement had- really sold the alien moon aspect of the game. The thing that I'm not sure I liked war sparse sound. As I understand you went for the "sound doesn't travel in space", and that adds to the atmosphere, but hinders your situational awareness.
Keep up the good work. Once I see some of the other 7dfps games I'll make sure to check out your other stuff!
